What the endorsement means for you?

The APodA endorsement means our cricket shoes have been examined by practising podiatrists (foot-health experts) and judged to genuinely support your feet.

When you see the Podiatry Endorsed logo on our shoes, it's an independent signal that our functional design has been scrutinised against clinical foot-health standards.

APodA Testing

APodA endorsement isn't a quick tick. To earn it, a product is put through a structured, evidence-based assessment. These are the testing fields:

IDONEUS Cricket Shoes

Heel Support

A rigid, anatomically positioned heel counter delivering rear foot stability and calcaneus locking.

Forefoot Flexion

Controlled flexion localised to the metatarsophalangeal joints for efficient propulsion through toe-off.

Torsional Stability

High midfoot torsional rigidity resisting excessive longitudinal twist under dynamic load.

Contoured Arch

Integrated medial longitudinal arch contouring supporting the foot's natural architecture.

Fastening Device/s (laces, straps, BOA, etc)

A secure lacing/fastening system engineered for midfoot lockdown without focal pressure or irritation.

Toe Box

Toe-box geometry replicating natural foot morphology in width and depth for adequate digital volume.

Cushioning

Multi-layer plantar cushioning optimised for shock attenuation and repetitive-impact load management.

Removable insole

A removable footbed enabling accommodation of custom orthotic devices.

The Process

Four independent podiatrists. The real shoe. A detailed clinical checklist. That's what stands behind the logo.

independent expert panel

Each product is assessed by a panel of four independently practising, AHPRA-registered podiatrists, each with at least four years of training and five or more years of active clinical experience.

The actual shoe is examined

The APodA assessors review physical samples of the footwear itself, not just a spec sheet.

Clinical design features are scored

The assessment looks at foot-health fundamentals such as heel support, arch contour, toe-box design, cushioning and overall fit, the features that determine how a shoe actually supports the foot.

The evidence behind the claims is checked

Any research and technical material submitted with the product is reviewed including the product's marketing claims and sales messages are assessed for accuracy.

Rigorous testing criteria

Products are marked against detailed checklists across multiple criteria, and only those that clear APodA's scoring threshold across several categories are endorsed.

Endorsement is earned & specific to the product

The endorsement is non-exclusive and time-bound. The product and its marketing cannot be changed without review, so the mark reflects the shoe as it is today on the shelf.
